Smooth matt
Formula: water-based acrylic

Squig Orange is a warm, earthy orange with a touch of red — less of a neon shout and more of a rich, characterful glow. It's perfect for squigs (naturally), warm leather, rusty metal and orange cloth that should look lived-in rather than freshly minted. A friendly, hard-working midtone.
At a glance
Type: Citadel Layer paint
Finish: smooth matt
Formula: water-based acrylic
Pot size: 12ml
Colour: warm earthy orange
Best for
Squigs and warm orange flesh
Rust and weathered leather
An earthy midtone over reds
Over a red base and lifted towards yellow, it gives orange a warm, natural richness — ideal for the cheekier corners of a greenskin army.
Supplied as a single 12ml pot. Pairs well with the rest of the Citadel layer range and a shade for depth.
