Purpose-built tool for removing mould lines
Shaped blade scrapes cleanly along seams
Safer and tidier than using a craft knife

The Citadel Mouldline Remover is one of those tools you don't know you needed until you've used it. Its specially shaped blade scrapes away the fine mould lines left on plastic and resin parts — those tell-tale ridges that ruin an otherwise crisp paint job — without the slips and gouges you risk doing the same job with a craft knife. Quick, safe and weirdly satisfying.
Why it's good
Removes the ridges that show up the moment you start painting
Far less risk of slipping and damaging detail than a knife
Makes prep faster and a lot less fiddly, especially on fiddly small parts
Works on both plastic and resin components
Run it along a seam a few times and the line just melts away — the kind of prep work that pays off the second the paint goes on.
Scrapes away seam lines cleanly and safely. A natural pair with the Citadel Drill for hollowing barrels and pinning parts, and see the rest of our hobby tools range for more prep-stage essentials.
