Traitor Green is a flat, dirty olive — the sort of green that says "corrupted" or "gone feral" rather than "fresh forest." As the Midtone in Duncan Rhodes' Two Thin Coats system, it's the shade you basecoat with: even coverage across the model, ready for its Shadow and Highlight partners to do the rest of the work.
Best for
Basecoating grubby cloaks, corrupted armour and drab cloth
Camo and khaki details on sci-fi or fantasy kit
It lays down flat and even in a couple of thin coats, giving the Shadow and Highlight something solid to sit on top of.
A Midtone — basecoat with this one first. Traitor Green isn't officially trio'd with a same-name Shadow or Highlight in our range, but Contagion Green and Pestilence Green sit right beside it tonally — deepen with the former, highlight with the latter, and you've got a full toxic-green build without leaving the Two Thin Coats range.
