A rich, transparent violet for shading purple cloth, arcane effects and cool shadow-tinting. Vallejo's Game Ink Violet keeps purples deep and vivid where an opaque shade would go grey and lifeless. Ideal for sorcerers, royal robes and anything that should look a little bit magical.
Best for
Dries to a satin finish
Shading purple cloth and robes, arcane effects and cool shadow-tinting
Mixes with any acrylic colour or medium to tint and darken
Brush into recesses, or thin further for a subtle glaze; airbrush-friendly
A drop mixed into your shadow tones adds a cool, expensive-looking depth across a whole model.
Transparent shading that does the fiddly work for you. Pair it with a purple basecoat and a wash medium to control the flow.
