This Vallejo matt varnish is a dead-flat topcoat for sealing a finished Mecha Color job and killing any lingering shine — the coat that makes paint look like paint, not plastic. Brush it on or run it through the airbrush, and it works just as well as a matt varnish for miniatures and gaming pieces.
Best for
Sealing finished models
Removing shine from paints and decals
A durable matt coat for gaming pieces
The finishing coat that ties every colour together under one honest sheen.
The matt topcoat that makes paint look right. Pair it with the gloss and satin varnishes to control every finish.
