Dark Rose is a deep, dusky pink with a touch of the muted about it — lovely for robes, roses, fabric and any pink that wants to look rich and grown-up rather than sugary. A subtle, useful shade from Vallejo's Model Color range.
Best for
Robes, fabric and floral detail
A muted mid-pink to shade or highlight
Smooth, self-levelling coats with minimal brushstrokes
It sits happily between deep reds and pale pinks, so it's a natural midtone for building believable, layered cloth.
A grown-up pink with real depth. Pair it with a pale pink highlight and a red-brown shade.
