Read moreRead less
Dark Yellow Ocre is a warm, golden-tan pigment that's a mainstay for dusty roads, dry earth and sandy build-up. This ultra-fine Vallejo powder brushes on dry for a sun-baked dusting, or fixes with thinner and binder for thicker accumulations of dirt. It sits beautifully between the pale desert tones and the deeper browns, making it one of the most versatile earth pigments to keep on the shelf.
Best for
Dusty roads and dry, sun-baked earth
Sandy build-up on lower hulls and boots
Warming and blending other earth tones
Versatile enough to feature in almost any earth scheme, from arid bases to muddy tracks.
The workhorse warm earth tone. Team with Pigment Binder and darker browns for layered ground effects.
