Metal Earth kits turn flat sheets of laser-cut steel into seriously detailed 3D models — no glue, no solder, no paint. You snip each part free, bend the tabs through their slots, and an evening later you've got a gleaming Millennium Falcon, Spitfire or TARDIS sitting on your desk. They're brilliant for anyone who loves building things but hasn't got space for a full modelling setup, and they make cracking gifts for film fans, aviation buffs and space nerds alike.
How difficult are Metal Earth kits?
Every kit is rated on Metal Earth's own scale — Easy, Moderate, Challenging or Expert — and we list the rating, sheet count and built size on every product. If it's your first one, start with an Easy single-sheet kit like the Eiffel Tower, Big Ben or Golden Snitch. Ready for more? The Millennium Falcon, X-Wing and Apollo Command/Service Module will keep you busy.
What do I need to build one?
Everything that goes into the model is on the sheets, with illustrated instructions in the box. A pair of fine cutters and some tweezers or needle-nose pliers make the job far easier — you'll find both in our hobby tools range. Kits are recommended for ages 14+.
