Read moreRead less
Light Sienna is a bright, warm orange-brown that's ideal for fresh rust and lively earth tones. This ultra-fine Vallejo pigment dusts on dry for vivid rust streaks and highlights, or fixes with thinner and binder for built-up corrosion. It's the lighter, warmer counterpoint in a rust palette — use it over darker browns to give oxidation that convincing, freshly-formed glow.
Best for
Fresh, bright rust streaks and highlights
Warm, lively earth tones
Layering over darker rust for depth
A touch over deeper browns lifts rust from flat to genuinely three-dimensional.
The bright note in your rust palette. Pairs perfectly with Pigment Binder and darker earth pigments.
