Early-war Imperial Japanese Army vehicles wore a distinctive earthy grass-green, and this Tsuchi-Kusa.Iro (early) primer lays it down as your base coat. From Vallejo's Surface Primer range, the 60ml bottle bonds to the model and gives an authentic, colour-matched foundation, letting you build your early-war IJA scheme straight onto the correct historical tone.
Best for
Early-war Imperial Japanese Army armour
An authentic IJA base tone in one step
A tough, self-levelling foundation coat
The right base green keeps your early-war force coherent from the very first coat.
Authentic early-war IJA green. Pairs perfectly with the wider Vallejo range and a matt varnish.
