Base — high-pigment basecoat
Smooth matte
Colour: dark green
Read moreRead less
Caliban Green is a deep, rich dark green and one of the true hobby staples — the base behind Dark Angels and countless other forest-dark schemes. As a high-pigment basecoat it covers cleanly in a single coat, laying an even, dense green foundation that's ready for edge highlights and a little grime. Small wonder it's a bestseller.
Best for
Dark green armour, Dark Angels and beyond
Vehicles, cloaks and deep green cloth
A solid base beneath green layers and shades
Get this dense green down evenly and the whole model already has a disciplined, moody look.
A dependable base you'll reach for army after army. Build the rest of your scheme from the Warhammer Colour Base range, and lay it down cleanly with a good brush.
