Phoenician Purple is a rich, vivid purple with a warm, almost magenta heart — the base of choice for Emperor's Children and any scheme that wants bold, decadent colour. It lays down opaque and punchy, keeping that vibrancy right through to the highlights.
Best for
Laying a solid, opaque foundation in one or two coats
Blocking in bright purple armour and cloth
Taking layer highlights and shade washes cleanly over the top
Get it down early and the rest of the model builds faster — that decadent purple stays punchy right up to the final highlight.
Get it down early and the whole model builds faster. Fill out your base paints, then move up through the layer range — and grab a brush while you're here.
