Olive Drab over Neutral Grey carried the Eighth Air Force through the daylight bombing campaign, and it's the scheme most people picture when they think USAAF. This first-volume AK 3G set gives you all four colours behind it: Olive Drab 41, Neutral Grey 43, the Medium Green 42 used for blotching, and Sand 49 for aircraft that served in the Mediterranean.
Best for
P-47 Thunderbolt and P-51 Mustang, early production
B-17 Flying Fortress and B-24 Liberator
1941-43 Olive Drab/Neutral Grey with Medium Green blotching
Four bottles cover the standard scheme and its Mediterranean variant, so one set takes you from an Eighth Air Force Fortress to a Twelfth Air Force Thunderbolt.
