Ready-mixed enamel wash (AK301)
35ml jar
Purpose-mixed for warship wood decking — works on any timber

Nothing lifts a planked deck like a proper wash, and this enamel is mixed specifically to do it — built with warships in mind, but just as handy on any wooden subject on the bench. Shake it, flow it straight onto the model, then tidy back the excess with a thinner-damp brush.
Best for
Wooden ship and boat decks, picking out every plank line
Crates, barrels and other timber stowage needing depth
Classic wash weathering wherever wood grain needs to read
One of the oldest tricks in the book, and still one of the best — a good wood wash makes the deck detail jump out from across the room instead of disappearing under flat paint.
