The upper-surface olive drab that covered US Army Air Force aircraft right through the Second World War. Real Colors matches the shade to the wartime reference, so your Thunderbolt, Mustang or Fortress wears the correct green rather than a rough approximation.
Best for
WWII USAAF upper-surface camouflage
Olive drab warbirds of every stripe, from fighters to heavy bombers
Lay it over the top surfaces and fade it back with lighter tones for the sun-bleached, weathered look these aircraft picked up after months in the field.
The right olive drab for a US warbird. Formulated to airbrush cleanly and self-level to a smooth finish — thin with AK's own Real Colors High Compatibility Thinner. Pair it with a neutral grey underside from the full AK Real Colors range.
