Buy yourself more time on the palette. Brush Retarder is a colourless acrylic medium that slows the drying of your paints, opening up the window for smooth wet blends and seamless transitions. It also boosts transparency for subtle glazes and layered colour — the quiet helper behind a lot of clean paint jobs.
Best for
Wet blending and smooth colour transitions
Glazing and building subtle tonal shifts
Keeping paint workable on the palette longer
A few drops is all it takes — too much and the paint won't behave, but the right amount turns a fast-drying acrylic into something you can actually blend.
The secret to unhurried blends. Pair it with colour from the model paints range.
