Apocalypse Sky earns its name — a cool, brooding grey-blue with just enough weight to it that it reads as storm clouds rather than plain grey. It's the sort of midtone that makes cold, overcast schemes actually look cold, rather than just pale.

Best for

• Base-coating cool blue-grey armour, cloth and drapery

Flat and even in two coats, it leaves you a clean, neutral midtone to shade down or lift up without fighting warmth or muddiness.
