Armadillo means “little armoured one” in Spanish, and the name is well earned — bony plates from nose to tail and, in some species, the party trick of rolling into a ball. The EUGY Armadillo stacks that armour up in layers of recyclable, biodegradable card, which feels rather fitting.
Ages 6+ · Builds in about 10–20 minutes
What's in the box
Pre-cut, numbered card slices — armour plating included
Non-toxic glue in the box, so you can start straight away
Step-by-step illustrated instructions with armadillo fun facts
How it builds
Glue slice to slice in number order — the layered card mimics the real thing's plating
Ten to twenty minutes, no scissors, no fuss
A slightly left-field pick that stands out in any EUGY collection
Finished, it's a compact, characterful little tank of an animal — the sort of shelf piece people pick up and ask about.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need glue or scissors?
Neither, because the glue is already in the box — a pot of non-toxic glue comes with every EUGY. The card slices arrive pre-cut and numbered, so there's no cutting, no measuring and nothing else to buy. Open it and start.
What age are EUGYs for?
Six and up is the guide. Younger children get on with them happily alongside an adult for the fiddlier layers, and plenty of grown-ups build them without a child anywhere in sight — which we're not going to judge.
How long does one take to build?
Ten to twenty minutes — short enough to finish in one sitting, which is rather the point. It's a proper screen-free wind-down that ends with something to show for it, rather than a project that gets abandoned half-built on the kitchen table.
Pre-cut, numbered card slices that stack into the finished animal, a pot of non-toxic glue, and illustrated step-by-step instructions with genuine facts about the creature scattered through them. Designed in New Zealand, and the range holds a Red Dot Design Award — unusual for something this cheap.
my whale mad 3 year old grandchild loves anything to do with whales so this kit was perfect. Have bought a few more as well as the offer of 3 for £22 beat any other price. Found this company online and service was great. Super fast delivery which was much appreciated. Woll definitely buy from here again. Thank you

Great gifts
I discovered and bought some of these little kits in Australia so I was pleased to find a UK site selling them. I love the red panda. They're easy to make and very cute but, be warned, they're addictive! I've bought some for gifts (and for myself) so I'm looking forward to more happy hours of glueing and admiring the results.
