There are over 130 EUGY 3D model kits on our shelves. That is a wonderful problem for a child and a genuinely irritating one for whoever is buying. So here is the whole lot, sorted into categories, with a straight answer on which age each group suits and which ones we would hand to a nervous first-timer.
Every kit is £8.99, ages 6+, built from pre-cut numbered card with non-toxic glue in the box, and takes 10 to 20 minutes. No scissors, no screens, no plastic.

How to Use This List
- Lead with the animal, not the difficulty. A child building something they already love will push through a fiddly bit. A child building a sensible starter model wanders off.
- Chunky beats spindly for younger builders. Round bodies and short legs are forgiving. Antennae, beaks and thin tails are not.
- Buy more than one. The second build is where it clicks and they stop nervously checking every step.
If you want the reasoning behind all that, we set it out in our guide to why EUGY builds are so good for growing brains.
EUGY Dinosaurs and Prehistoric Animals
Best for ages 7+. The most requested category in the shop, and mostly mid-difficulty — long necks and tails need a steadier hand than a round animal does.
Tyranno, Tricera, Stego, Raptor, Spino, Bronto, Ankylo, Pachycephalo, Ptero, Mosa and the Mammoth.
Start here: the Ankylo or the Tricera — both are solid, low-drama builds. Save the Ptero for someone who has done a few.
EUGY Sea Life
Best for ages 6+. Our biggest category, and the most forgiving — fish and whales are essentially smooth shapes, which makes them ideal first builds.
Axolotl, Octopus, Orca, Shark, Whale Shark, Blue Whale, Humpback Whale, Sperm Whale, Dolphin, Narwhal, Turtle, Stingray, Seahorse, Clownfish, Anglerfish, Pufferfish, Ocean Sunfish, Asian Arowana, Crab, Manatee, Walrus, Sea Otter, Polar Bear, Platypus, Penguin and the Emperor Penguin.
Start here: the Turtle or the Clownfish. Both are round, both come out looking exactly like the box.
EUGY Birds
Best for ages 8+. Beaks, crests and tail feathers make these a step up — and the finished models are the most striking of the lot.
Robin, Owl, Kingfisher, Puffin, Bald Eagle, Toucan, Parrot, Cockatoo, Spix's Macaw, Crane, Dove, Cardinal, Hoopoe, Fairy Wren, Mandarin Duck, Kookaburra, Kea, Kakapo, Brown Kiwi, Royal Albatross, Emu, Rooster and the Dodo — which, given the company is called Dodoland, feels obligatory.
Start here: the Robin. Small, round, British, and finished in fifteen minutes.
EUGY Wild Animals
Best for ages 7+. The classic zoo line-up, and the category most likely to be recognised on a shelf by a visiting grandparent.
Lion, Tiger, Elephant, Giraffe, Zebra, Rhino, Gorilla, Panda, Polar Bear, Wolf, Moose, Camel, Bighorn, Kangaroo, Koala, Tasmanian Devil and the Tasmanian Tiger.
Start here: the Bighorn. Chunky, characterful and almost impossible to get wrong.
EUGY Cute Critters
Best for ages 6+. Small, round, and the category that turns a one-off present into a collection.
Hedgehog, Red Panda, Capybara, Quokka, Sloth, Raccoon, Red Fox, Badger, Squirrel, Beaver, Armadillo, Pangolin, Meerkat, Bat and the Wombat.
Start here: the Hedgehog. Our single most-recommended first EUGY, and a British garden favourite into the bargain.
EUGY Reptiles and Insects
Best for ages 10+ and adults. The sleeper category. Thin legs, antennae and frills mean these demand a steady hand — and they look phenomenal finished.
Chameleon, Crocodile, Tortoise, Tuatara, Frilled Lizard, Thorny Devil, Desert Spadefoot Toad, Goliath Beetle, Hercules Beetle, Giant Weta, Bumblebee and the Snail.
Start here: the Snail for a younger builder, the Goliath Beetle if you want the showpiece.

EUGY Pets
Best for ages 6+. The gift that lands when a child has a pet of their own — or desperately wants one.
Welsh Corgi, Dog (Hope), Cat — Tuxedo, Cat — Cottonball, Cat — Pumpkin, Cat — Mocha and the Rabbit.
Start here: whichever cat matches theirs. That is the entire strategy.
EUGY Farm Animals
Best for ages 5+ with help. The simplest shapes in the range, which makes this the quiet winner for the youngest builders.
Highland Cow, Holstein Friesian Cow, Sheep, Pig, Horse, Llama and the Rooster.
Start here: the Sheep. Round, cheerful and hard to ruin. The Highland Cow is the one people buy for themselves.
EUGY Fantasy
Best for ages 7+. For the child who has firm opinions about dragons.
Dragon, Red Dragon, Unicorn, Unicorn Sky, Mermaid, Sasquatch and the Tiki.
Start here: the Red Dragon. It is the one that gets photographed.

EUGY Christmas
Best for ages 6+. A short seasonal line that sells out every December, so buy early rather than optimistically.
Santa, Reindeer, Snowman and the Christmas Elf.

Before You Buy
Stock moves, and some of the range is imported in small quantities — if a model shows as unavailable it is usually back within a few weeks. Everything is £8.99, ships fast across the UK, and sits on the shelves in our Barry shop if you would rather pick one up in person.
Never built one? Read our step-by-step build guide first — there are two mistakes almost everyone makes on their first go.
Final thought: Nobody starts out intending to own thirty cardboard animals. It begins with one hedgehog, an empty spot on a shelf, and a child who has noticed there is also a badger. Consider yourself warned.
Prices and stock correct at the time of writing.
