Read moreRead less
The kookaburra is Australia's laughing bird — its raucous, cackling chorus rings out at dawn and dusk to mark the family territory, and it's genuinely hard to hear without grinning. The EUGY Kookaburra keeps the grin and skips the 5am wake-up call: glue the numbered card pieces together in order and this chunky, characterful kingfisher is perched on your shelf in ten to twenty minutes.
Ages 6+ · Builds in about 10–20 minutes

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need glue or scissors?
Neither, because the glue is already in the box — a pot of non-toxic glue comes with every EUGY. The card slices arrive pre-cut and numbered, so there's no cutting, no measuring and nothing else to buy. Open it and start.
What age are EUGYs for?
Six and up is the guide. Younger children get on with them happily alongside an adult for the fiddlier layers, and plenty of grown-ups build them without a child anywhere in sight — which we're not going to judge.
How long does one take to build?
Ten to twenty minutes — short enough to finish in one sitting, which is rather the point. It's a proper screen-free wind-down that ends with something to show for it, rather than a project that gets abandoned half-built on the kitchen table.
Pre-cut, numbered card slices that stack into the finished animal, a pot of non-toxic glue, and illustrated step-by-step instructions with genuine facts about the creature scattered through them. Designed in New Zealand, and the range holds a Red Dot Design Award — unusual for something this cheap.
