Horrifying to look at, weirdly lovable in temperament. Beasts of Nurgle are slug-like monstrosities of slime-slick muscle and unspeakable reek — but they bear no malice. They squirm into battle to play, hunting down new 'playmates' with rambunctious, slobbering glee. A characterful centrepiece Daemon for Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar, now in Games Workshop's updated packaging.
What's in the box
Builds 1 Beast of Nurgle
48 plastic components
No weapons — it smothers foes with claws, tentacles and a slobbering tongue
Three belly options, three increasingly manic faces, plus webbed or clawed hands and feet
Two tentacle crests, two tongues and a 60mm round base
A joy to build and an absolute treat to paint — every gross detail is a reason to reach for another wash.
Supplied unpainted and unassembled. Glue and paints sold separately. A grotesque centrepiece. A Citadel shade does wonders for all that slime.
