Cloth-backed sanding that bends where paper cracks. Tamiya's 1000-grit sanding cloth wraps neatly around curves — car bodies, canopies, rounded detail — for even finishing that rigid sheets simply can't manage. It's happy on plastic, light metals and wood, used wet or dry.
Why it's good
Smooths and shapes without cracking on curves
Removes tool marks and seam lines
The first step in a proper polishing routine
Start here, then work up through the finer grits for a glass-smooth surface.
Where a smooth finish begins. Step up to the finer 1500 and 2000 cloths as you go.
