If you own one pot of paint, it's this one. Abaddon Black is the base of bases — a dense, high-pigment black that lays down solid, even coverage in a single coat over primer, giving every scheme its dependable dark foundation. Undercoat, line work, deepest shadows: this pot does it all, which is exactly why it's a bestseller.
Best for
Solid black basecoats in a single coat
Undercoating, line work and deep shadows
The foundation of practically any scheme
Reliable, opaque and endlessly useful — the workhorse black that every paint station is built around.
The one pot every paint station is built around. Build the rest of your scheme from the Warhammer Colour Base range, and lay it down cleanly with a good brush.
