Base — high-pigment basecoat
Smooth matte
Colour: dark muted green
Read moreRead less
Castellan Green is the muted military green behind whole regiments — the practical, dark khaki-green that suits guardsmen, tanks and anything built for grinding attrition. As a high-pigment base it lays down flat, even colour in a single coat, the ideal no-nonsense foundation for camo, weathering and grime.
Best for
Army-wide infantry and vehicle basecoats
Camouflage and military schemes
Worn field gear and equipment
When there's a platoon to paint, a solid one-coat base like this is what gets the project over the line.
A dependable base you'll reach for army after army. Build the rest of your scheme from the Warhammer Colour Base range, and lay it down cleanly with a good brush.
