Baal Red is a warm, blood-rich red that shades and basecoats red armour, cloth and gore effects in one pass — a shortcut to menacing, characterful red. Contrast paint does the basecoat and shading in a single coat, taking a model from primed to table-ready fast.
At a glance
Type: Contrast paint (one-coat)
Finish: Satin
Volume: 18ml pot
Colour: Warm blood red
Best for
One-coat basecoat-and-shade over a light primer
Fast colour on red armour, cloth and gore effects
Glazing and tinting over lighter tones
Brush it over a pale undercoat and the recesses shade themselves — the fastest route from grey plastic to painted.
