Tallarn Sand is a muted, sandy tan layer that's a genuine workhorse — brilliant for desert cloth, worn canvas and naturalistic dry-earth bases. Smooth and buildable, it highlights darker tans cleanly and drybrushes a treat over groundwork. The quiet, dusty tone that grounds a whole scheme.
Best for
Desert cloth and worn canvas
Dry-earth and sandy bases
Drybrushing naturalistic groundwork
Dusty and understated — the tan that makes bases and canvas look sun-baked and real.
The dusty tan that makes bases and canvas look sun-baked and real. Pairs perfectly with the rest of the Warhammer Colour Layer range and a good detail brush for clean edge work.
