Every miniature needs something to stand on. We stock miniature bases in all the common sizes and shapes, from plain plastic rounds to ready-detailed scenic bases, for Warhammer 40,000, Age of Sigmar and other tabletop games.
Which base size?
- 25mm and 28.5mm round: older infantry, many fantasy and skirmish models.
- 32mm round: the modern standard for most Warhammer infantry, including Space Marines.
- 40mm and 50mm round: Terminators, characters, large infantry and small monsters.
- Ovals and large bases: bikes, cavalry, monsters and vehicles.
The box a model comes in normally includes the right base, so spares are mostly for conversions, rebasing older models or projects like display pieces. Check your game's current rules if you're rebasing for competitive play.
Plain or scenic?
Plain bases are cheap and flexible: add sand, texture paint and tufts for your own look. Scenic resin bases come pre-sculpted with rubble, ruins or temple flagstones, so they just need painting.
