The sandy brown of the German second tropical scheme, worn by vehicles sent to fight in North Africa and Crete between March 1942 and February 1943. Real Colors matches RAL 8020 properly, so your Afrika Korps armour wears the correct desert tone instead of a generic tan.
Best for
Afrika Korps and Mediterranean German armour
Two-tone tropical schemes alongside RAL 7027
Lay it down over roughly two-thirds of the vehicle as the base tone, then break it up with its companion grey-green for the authentic Tropen 2 look — a scheme that also turned up on the Eastern Front.
Matt-finish acrylic-lacquer, ready for the airbrush. Pick up the companion shade from the full Real Colors range.
