The dark brown that broke up early-war German armour, worn alongside Dunkelgrau from July 1937 to July 1940. Real Colors matches the RAL 7017 standard, so a 1930s-vintage Panzer gets the correct two-tone scheme rather than a rough approximation from the paint rack.
Best for
Pre-war and early-war German armour
Two-tone Dunkelgrau over Dunkelbraun schemes
Panzer I–III and other early-war vehicles
How to use it
Airbrushes cleanly and self-levels to a smooth finish
Thin with Real Colors High Compatibility Thinner
Roughly a third coverage over a Dunkelgrau base is the historical pattern
Lay it as soft-edged patches over a Dunkelgrau base for the look these vehicles carried into Poland and France.
The brown half of an early Panzer scheme. Pick up its Dunkelgrau partner from the full AK Real Colors range.
