Holographic Pearl is the party trick of AK Interactive's Real Colors Civil range — a clear pearlescent lacquer that flips through pink, blue, green and purple as the light moves across it. It's less a colour than an effect: lay it over a base coat and your paintwork suddenly looks like it's rolled straight off a show-car stand.
Best for
JDM builds, tuner cars and show-car dioramas
Custom motorcycle tanks, helmets and fairings
Mecha, sci-fi armour and anime subjects that want an iridescent sheen
How to use it
Spray over a white or silver base for the strongest colour shift
Over darker bases it gives a subtler, deeper shimmer
Airbrush in thin, even passes, thinned with Real Colors High Compatibility Thinner
Because it's a clear coat, you control how far you push it — a light dusting for a hint of shimmer under the display lights, or more passes for a proper rainbow flip.
