A versatile pale grey with two very different uses. RAF Sky Grey was the underside of early Fleet Air Arm Temperate Sea Scheme aircraft in 1939–40, and it also makes a fair match for the so-called Russian Grey worn overall by Soviet interceptors like the MiG-25 and MiG-31 from the 1970s. One bottle, both a wartime RAF scheme and a Cold War Soviet jet.
Best for
Early FAA Temperate Sea Scheme undersides, 1939–40
A match for Soviet Russian Grey interceptors
MiG-25, MiG-31 and some MiG-23 overall finishes
As an overall Soviet jet grey it takes modulation and grime beautifully — perfect for a hard-worked interceptor.
