One of the great Luftwaffe workhorses. RLM 02 Grau painted aircraft interiors from around 1935 to the end of the war, served as the overall colour of early combat aircraft and trainers, and did a stint as an upper-surface camouflage tone on early-war fighters before being relegated to mottling. A bottle you'll empty fast across almost any Luftwaffe build.
Best for
Luftwaffe cockpit and interior surfaces
Overall finish on early combat aircraft and trainers
Early-war fighter camouflage and mottling
Whether you're basing an interior or mottling a fighter's flanks, it's one of those tones you'll keep within arm's reach on every Luftwaffe build.
An essential Luftwaffe grey. Build the rest of the scheme from the AK Real Colors range.
