Warhammer 40,000 novel by Callum Davis
Black Library hardback edition
A rookie Commissar leads the Savlar Chem-Dogs against the orks
Read moreRead less
There are bad postings in the Astra Militarum, and then there's the Savlar Chem-Dogs. Commissar Bastun Hasp draws the shortest straw in the Imperium: keeping a penal legion of convicts and scavengers in line while leading a kill team on a vital mission deep into ork-held territory. Callum Davis delivers a tension-soaked Warhammer 40,000 story where survival is never a given and discipline is a loose suggestion.
Why read it
An outsider's view of one of the Guard's most notorious regiments
Classic Astra Militarum versus orks action where the outcome genuinely hangs in the balance
Behind-enemy-lines tension — a kill team with no backup and a mission that can't fail
The Chem-Dogs are one of those regiments fans have wanted a proper novel about for years — and this is it: grim, gripping and thoroughly Guard.
