Winter tufts are the pale, frost-touched grass of the cold months — washed-out, wintry growth that suits snowy fields, frozen battlefields and bleak midwinter bases. At 5mm these medium clumps add subtle height and a cold, faded tone, and being self-adhesive they simply peel, place and press down. The finishing touch for any base that should feel gripped by winter.
Why they're good
Pale, cold tone for winter and frozen bases
Medium height suits most infantry and cavalry bases
Trim to size for total control over placement
Pair them with snow effects and leave patches of grass poking through drifts — that mix of pale grass and white snow is exactly how real winter ground looks.
Frost-touched grass for wintry bases. Pairs perfectly with Vallejo Snow effects and the rest of the basing range.
